The Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e is of those mid-tier tablets that most people should consider purchasing if they’re looking for a tablet. That’s because most consumers are always looking for the high-tier product, and most of the time, they’re just paying a higher price for specs that they don’t need. Apple’s iPad is a good example of that. The Tab S5e comes in at a lower price with some good specs that most users will find quickly and efficiently fit their needs.
The best spec of the Galaxy Tab S5e likely its display, with the tablet featuring a 1600 x 2560 16:10 aspect ratio Super AMOLED screen that offers a great viewing experience. Since the tablet screen is easily one of the strongest parts, you’re going to find the best use for the tablet is to watch videos. Some may think that the Tab S5e’s Snapdragon 670 processor makes it slow; it’s fast enough for nearly every task you need it for; the tablet is even great for multi-tasking, such as having multiple app windows open at the same time.
However, as we mentioned before, if you’re using Tab S5e for video watching, or light app gaming, then the battery can drain quite quickly. The Galaxy Tab S5e has a 7,040mAh battery size, a large battery that you’re going to want to use a fast charger with when you do run out of power. In this guide, we’re covering chargers for the Galaxy Tab S5e, with the ones in this guide using fast charging, a few different types of chargers depending on where you need to charge your Samsung tablet.
Aukey 6-Port Dual Quick Charge Desktop Charger
Tab S5e already comes with a single port Adaptive Fast Charger, a charger based on Qualcomm Quick Charge, so the chargers in this guide will be using Quick Charge, and they can fast charge the Samsung tablet. Of course, if you can use the included charger to fast charge the tablet, you only get a single port.
This Aukey desktop charger is a better option if you want to charge many more devices simultaneously. The charger uses two Quick Charge 3.0 ports and four standard USB-A ports. So you can fast charge your Tab S5e and fast charge another Android device such as a Samsung Galaxy phone. Since the max output of this charger is 60W, you’re able to charge from the other four ports at the same time while still being able to fast charge from the two QC ports.
The Aukey charger does not have a built-in AC adapter as it uses so many ports. Instead, it uses a power cord. It may be less than ideal when it comes to traveling. However, the power cord on his desktop charger allows you to place the devices that you’re charging where you want them to be; along with a long charging cable, you can have the Aukey charger plugged in on the other side of the room and still have your devices right next to you.

RAVPower 30,000mAh 90W PD Quick Charge Power Bank
This RAVPower portable charger may be “Too Much” in terms of its charging power, but it does feature what you need when it comes to charging your Tab S5e with a power bank. The charger has a 30,000mAh power capacity, enough power to charge the Samsung tablet to full power about two times, with some power leftover.
The power bank also has two ports; one is a 90W USB-C Power Delivery, and the other is a USB-A Quick Charge 3.0 port. So the USB-C PD port can be used to charge your Tab 5se, but it’s best to use the USB-C PD port for charging USB-C chargeable laptops. Simultaneously, the Quick Charge 3.0 USB-A port can be used to fast charge the Samsung tablet. Also, even when you’re charging two devices, you can still fast charge your Galaxy Tab S5e, and the USB-C PD port will output 65W, instead of its regular 90W, still lots of power for charging USB-C laptops.
The power bank can be recharged at 60W with a 60W Power Delivery wall charger, but you have to provide your own. The portable charger does come with a USB-C to USB-C cable in the box.

Silicon Power QP70 10,000mAh Quick Charge Mini Power Bank
We did say that it’s best to go with a higher-capacity portable charger as they can charge the Galaxy S5e to full power a few times. However, those higher capacities make a power bank larger and heavier. If you want a portable charger that you can use for your phone and tablet and easily place the charger into your pocket, this QP70 power bank is a good choice.
The Silicon Power QP70 power bank has a 10,000mAh power capacity, much lower than the two other power banks we mentioned. You likely won’t be able to charge your S5e to full power with this power bank, but it can come close. Charging power is not lacking, as the power bank has a Quick Charge 3.0 port and an 18W PD charging speed.
The size of the QP70 charger is easily the best part, with a length of 3.4 inches and a thickness of 0.8 inches; the power bank can easily fit into a pocket and be barely noticeable.
