VOLTME 35W 2 Port Charger

The VOLTME 35W 2 port charger is reliable for fast charging most Android phones; you can use the total 35W of Power Delivery from the charger if you charge one device and fast charge your Pixel 3. Then, if you’re charging two devices, the max output of the charger becomes 36W, and each USB-C port will output 18W of Power Delivery. So you can still fast charge the Pixel 3 when charging one or two devices simultaneously. In my review of the VOLTME 35W charger, I could fast charge my Note 9 and an LG G7 at the same time.

UGREEN Nexode 45W 2 Port Charger

If you need more power from a PD charger for charging a laptop and still want the option to fast charge your Pixel 3, the UGREEN 45W charger is well-balanced. The charger has a 45W max output that you can fully use if you charge one device at a time. Then, if you charge two devices, the power split from the two USB-C ports is 25W and 20W of Power Delivery; this makes it possible to fast charge your Pixel 3 while you charge another device. I could fast charge my Lenovo laptop alone during my review of the UGREEN 45W charger, and I could also charge my laptop and fast charge my Note 9 simultaneously during my testing. UGREEN Nexode 30W Robot Charger

The UGREEN robot 30W charger is more on the mini side because it uses a single 30W PD USB-C port, so if you don’t mind only being able to charge one device at a time, it’s a good choice. The USB-C port on the robot charger can fast charge your Pixel 3 and most other phones on the market. Also, design-wise, the UGREEN charger looks like a robot with a face that turns on during charging. In my review of the UGREEN 30W robot charger, I could super fast charge my Galaxy S20 because the charger features PPS, and the PPS charging can be useful if you eventually upgrade to a newer Pixel phone.

AOHI 40W MagCube 2 Port Charger

The AOHI 40W MagCube charger is another good option for fast charging the Pixel 3, with the AOHI charger having a 40W max output and two USB-C ports. You can use a total of 40W of Power Delivery when charging one device, and then during dual charging, each USB-C port will output 20W. So you can fast charge your Pixel 3 whether you charge it alone or with another device. Something that I found during my review of the AOHI 40W MagCube charger is that it has a power light at the front that varies depending on charging status; most chargers don’t have changing colors for their power lights. VOLTME 65W 3 Port Charger

If you want to charge a laptop and fast charge your Pixel 3, the VOLTME 65W charger is a great option. This VOLTME charger has a 65W max output, and you can use the total 65W of Power Delivery via the USB-C 1 or 2 ports when charging one device at a time. 65W of PD can be helpful for fast charging most USB-C laptops and is much more than enough power to fast charge your Pixel 3.

However, I recommend the VOLTME charger to charge a laptop from USB-C 1 and your Pixel 3 from USB-C 2 because the USB-C 1 port will output 45W, and the USB-C 2 port will output 18W. This makes it possible to fast charge your Pixel 3 and laptop simultaneously. That said, fast charging is lost from the USB-C 2 and USB-A ports during three-port charging. iWalk LinkPod USB-C Mini Power Bank

Since you can lose battery power quickly with the Google Pixel 3, you may want backup power on hand; the iWalk LinkPod USB-C mini power bank is a reliable daily charger you can take anywhere. The iWalk power bank can charge the Pixel 3 to full power about one time, and the better part about the charger is that you don’t need a cable at all to use the power bank. The charger has a built-in USB-C connector that you can plug into your Pixel 3, and it has a 20W PD charging speed that can fast charge the Pixel. In my review of the iWalk LinkPod mini power bank, I could use the same USB-C connector to recharge it by plugging it directly into a USB-C port.

Final thoughts about my choice of chargers for the Google Pixel 3

Some time has passed since the release of the Google Pixel 3, and that’s fine. Today’s phones may be better technical-wise, but most consumers are just fine with how phones performed a few years ago. Also, you save tons of money by not upgrading every year. The Pixel 3 has a decent charge rate for its time, and you can rely on higher-end chargers such as the UGREEN 45W charger in case you want the option of charging a laptop, or you can go more minimal with the VOLTME 35W charger.
