Best Galaxy J7 Chargers

Samsung’s smartphones are among the best on the market as they’ve increased in popularity over the years with a constantly growing user base. Despite regularly making some of the best phones with their Galaxy S and Galaxy Note series, they still haven’t forgotten about the more affordable, budget based devices. The type of phones that I’m talking about is their Galaxy J series, as they are priced comparably lower than their flagship phones.

Many may think that just because the Galaxy J7 and other J series phones are priced lower that makes them worse but that’s not really true. These phones are indeed on the lower end when it comes to their hardware, but that’s really it, aside from a lower price point. One of the elements that actually stays the same with Galaxy J7 and most other J smartphones is their battery power and charging capabilities. The Galaxy J7 has a battery capacity of 3,300mAh which can last you a very long time and when it comes time to recharge the phone, then you can use a Quick Charge 2.0 or Quick Charge 3.0 charger to restore it quickly.

With those two things in mind, it’s vital to know what the best chargers are for the Galaxy J7, as it has a large battery to refill and also fast charging too. This is why Charger Harbor has brought together what we believe to be some of the best chargers that you should use with this affordable and powerful phone.

Portable Chargers for the Galaxy J7

For such a high capacity smartphone you’re going to need a high capacity power bank and one that makes use of Quick Charge too.

Aukey 16,000mAh Power Bank

This Aukey portable power bank is a great charger to consider getting because of its 16,000mAh capacity that you would be able to use to charge your J7 to full power about four times. That said, we’re just assuming that you may be charging your phone alone, as this power bank uses two USB charging ports. One of the ports features Quick Charge and the other has a 2.4A charging speed that can charge most non-compatible Quick Charge devices at their max charging speed.

Another excellent part of this power bank is its slim form factor. Most 16,000mAh power banks are quite large and you wouldn’t even think about fitting them into your pocket. However, the Aukey 16,000mAh power bank has a thickness of just 0.65 inches and a length of 6.4 inches. This should slide right into most pockets with ease. If you add in the use of Quick Charge with one of its two charging ports, this portable charger brings a complete package.

Specs of the Aukey 16,000mAh Power Bank:

  • Capacity: 16,000mAh
  • Output:

  • Input:    5V/2.0A Via Micro-USB Input
  • LED Power Indicators: Single Changing LED Light
  • Size: 6.5 x 2.9 x 0.7 inches

Anker PowerCore 10000 Speed

Going into a lower capacity range may not seem logical, but it does with charging smartphones and when it comes to this PowerCore 10000 portable charger, you can’t go wrong. That’s because this 10,000mAh power bank is very small, measuring in at just 3.9 inches in length, a width of 2.5 inches, and a thickness of 0.9 inches. Holding this charger should pose no issues while you charge and use your Galaxy J7. The power capacity of this power bank can charge your J7 to its full power about two times.

Then there’s the added benefit of the PowerCore Speed which features a single Quick Charge 3.0 USB port. Some may think that it’s strange for a 10,000mAh power bank to use just a single USB port, but it makes sense as you get to focus the entirety of the power capacity on just a single device. This way, you can charge your J7 at its max charging speed while making the most of the power capacity that the PowerCore 10000 Speed has to offer.

Jackery Black420 Review

High capacity power banks used with just a smartphone might seem a tad overkill, but it makes sense to keep them on hand as they’re able to charge your smartphone and other devices to full power plenty of times. That is what this Jackery Black420 portable charger is able to do with its power capacity of 20,100mAh that can charge a Galaxy J7 to full power about 5.5 times. There’s really no shortage of power with this charger and you’re also able to charge another device to its full power at the same time with this power bank as it has two USB ports.

One of the USB ports uses Quick Charge and the other is a standard 5V/2.4A port that can charge all your standard devices at their max charging speeds. The build quality of this power bank is also another great feature because it has an aluminum alloy casing and underneath that is a shockproof shell. It might not be a rugged power bank but it does have a strong casing that can take some abuse.

Anker and Aukey 20,000mAh Power Banks

Aukey and Anker also have their own set of 20,000mAh power banks that are basically on the same level as this Jackery Black420 power bank. Anker has the PowerCore Speed 20,000mAh power bank that has Quick Charge 3.0 and 2.4A charging ports.

Then there’s Aukey’s 20,000mAh power bank that basically has the same two Output charging ports as the Jackery Black420 and the PowerCore Speed 20000. The primary difference, however, is that the Aukey portable charger has two input ports with one being a Micro-USB and the other being a Lightning input. You can only use one input at a time with Aukey’s charger but the use of a Lightning input is something that is not very common with many other portable chargers.

  • Capacity:            Advertised: 20,100mAh            Output Capacity: 14,500mAh
