You’re probably aware of their significant battery usage if you have a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 or Z Flip 5. The large screens, including a secondary front screen, can deplete battery life quickly. Despite their impressive specs, carrying a power bank for these phones can be a smart move to avoid running out of power during the day. This guide focuses on power banks suitable for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5. While these phones support 25W PPS super-fast charging, many power banks don’t offer this feature. The recommended power banks here address various needs, not just rapid charging.

ROMOSS PEA30 30,000mAh Power Bank

The first power bank I recommend for charging your Galaxy Z Fold 5 or Z Flip 5 is this rather large ROMOSS PEA30 power bank. This charger does have a massive 30,000mAh battery capacity, and with the Z Fold 5 having a 4,400mAh battery and the Z Flip 5 having a 3,700mAh battery, the 30,000mAh battery from this ROMOSS power bank is enough to give you multiple charges to the phones. You probably won’t be able to fit this power bank into your pocket, but if we’re talking about continuously using the charger for a few days without recharging, this is a good choice.

The charging ports on this ROMOSS power bank include a single USB-C port and two USB-A ports. The USB-C port on this power bank has a 30W Power Delivery charge rate, and you can use that to at least fast charge your Z Fold or Z Flip at about 20W. In my review testing, I found that I could fast charge via the USB-C port if I was charging a phone alone or had two devices charging simultaneously. If you charge three devices simultaneously, you may lose that fast charging via the USB-C port.

You can use any of the three input ports to recharge the power bank, but I recommend just using the USB-C port with a 30W Power Delivery wall charger to recharge the power bank. iWalk LinkPod USB-C Mini Power Bank

On the more portable side is the iWalk LinkPod USB-C mini power bank. This charger has a unique design because it has a built-in USB-C connector that you can plug directly into your Z Fold 5 or Z Flip 5, and the power bank becomes an extension of your phone. The USB-C connector has a 20W Power Delivery charge rate to fast charge your Galaxy phone, and you can use the same USB-C connector to recharge the power bank by plugging it into a USB-C port on a wall charger directly.

You can recharge this iWalk power bank via its USB-C port, too, and it comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable. The 4,800mAh battery capacity of this iWalk power bank may not charge your Z Fold phone to full power, but it will get close, and it’s more than enough power to last you until the end of the day. iWalk LinkPod Y2 Built-in USB-C Cable Power Bank

Another iWalk power bank I recommend is this iWalk LinkPod Y2 built-in USB-C cable charger. This iWalk LinkPod Y2 may be better for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip because it has a 9,600mAh battery capacity; this much power can, at least, deliver one full charge to your Z Fold 5 or Z Flip 5, and you can have spare capacity to use later.

The iWalk LinkPod Y2 power bank has a built-in USB-C cable with a 20W Power Delivery charge rate that can fast charge your Samsung phone. You can use the same built-in cable to recharge by plugging it into a USB-C port on a wall charger, but I recommend using a 20W Power Delivery USB-C port on a wall charger to get the maximum recharge speed. This PowerAdd Pro power bank has a 10,000mAh battery capacity that can charge the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 to full power about one time, probably two, depending on whether you’re using your phone and charging it simultaneously. The power bank has a 20W Power Delivery USB-C port and a USB-A Quick Charge port; I recommend charging your Z Fold 5 via the USB-C port for fast charging. UGREEN 145W 25,000mAh Power Bank

This UGREEN 145W power bank is not just suitable for charging your Galaxy Z Fold 5 or Galaxy Z Flip 5, but it’s great for charging most USB-C chargeable devices. Using this power bank for charging your Samsung phone and laptop is what this power bank is meant for because this charger has a 100W Power Delivery USB-C 1 port, the C-2 port has a 45W PD charge rate, and the USB-A port has an 18W output.

So you can charge a laptop via the C-1 port and fast charge your Galaxy Z Fold via the C-2 port on this UGREEN power bank. You could also charge two laptops simultaneously with this power bank. This UGREEN power bank also has a 25,000mAh battery capacity that can charge the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 to full power about four or five times. So getting this power bank solely for charging your Samsung phone may not be worth it, but this charger is a great all-around type of charger that can be used for charging most USB-C devices, large or small.

Baseus 65W 20,000mAh Power Bank

 

The Basues 65W power bank may be a better option for charging your Galaxy Z Fold 5 or Z Flip 5 because this charger has a lower price and a lower max output. This Baseus power bank has one USB-C port and two USB-A ports. You can use a total of 65W of Power Delivery via the USB-C port when charging one device, then charging two devices simultaneously makes the USB-C port output 45W, and if you’re charging three devices simultaneously, the USB-C port outputs 20W. So the best part about this power bank is that you can potentially charge a laptop via the USB-C port when charging either one or two devices at the same time, and you can still fast charge your Galaxy Z Fold 5 or Z Flip 5 via the USB-C port when charging three devices at the same time.

This Baseus power bank has a 20,000mAh battery capacity that can deliver a few total charges to your Samsung phone, and the power bank has a 60W recharge speed, but you need to use a 60W PD wall charger to recharge it at max speed.
