Best Chargers for HP Spectre Fold in 2024

(Last Updated On: December 3, 2023)

The HP Spectre Fold is a foldable 2-in-1 tablet laptop, and yes, it has a folding screen. The Spectre Fold has an Intel Core i7 1250U processor, uses 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, a massive 1TB NVMe SSD, and has a 17-inch 500 Nit OLED screen; along with a few other high-end specs, you get the idea that the HP Spectre Fold is a powerhouse of a laptop and tablet combo.

With all the power usage with the HP Spectre Fold, the 94Wh battery can quickly drain. The Spectre Fold does come with a 100W USB-C charger in the box. Still, if you’re searching for a replacement charger or an extra one with more charging ports, I’ve chosen some of the best replacement chargers for the Spectre Fold that can charge it in nearly any situation.

The most important thing to know is that you should use at least a 65W charger or higher for optimal charging, and that is what I’ve chosen in this guide.

UGREEN 140W 3 Port Charger

The UGREEN Nexoode 140W charger is among the most reliable all-around chargers I have tested. My full review for the UGREEN 140W Nexode is here. You can use the total 140W of Power Delivery if you’re charging a single device from the USB-C 1 port, USB-C 2 can output 100W, and the USB-A port can always output 22.5W no matter how many devices you charge simultaneously.

For the fastest charge speed to your HP Spectre, I recommend charging it alone via the USB-C 1 or 2 port; however, you can charge from the USB-C 1 or 2 ports and charge from the USB-A port at the same time, and that will let you get 100W of charging power from at least one of the USB-C ports. Charging from two USB-C ports at the same time gets you a 65W power split, and this makes it possible to charge your HP Spectre and another laptop at the same time.

If you’re charging three devices simultaneously with this UGREEN 140W charger, you should charge your HP Spectre Fold via the USB-C 1 for the fastest charging speed. This UGREEN 140W charger does come with a USB-C to USB-C cable, so you can start using it out of the box. For a more detailed exploration of this charger, watch my video review of the UGREEN 140W 3 Port Charger.

Baseus 140W 3 Port Charger

Another 140W charger that is great for charging the HP Spectre Fold is the Baseus 140W 3 port charger. This charger also has a max 140W output, but the power allocation for this Baseus charger differs. You can read my full review of this Baseus 140W charger here. So you can use 140W of Power Delivery when charging a single device from the USB-C 1 port; USB-C 2 can output 100W, but what’s different is that the USB-A port can output 60W when charging one device.

What is most different about this Baseus charger in comparison to the UGREEN 140W charger is that when you’re charging three devices at the same time from this Baseus charger, the USB-C 1 port will output 100W of Power Delivery to fast charge your HP Spectre Fold even when you have another two devices charging, this makes it possible to charge the Spectre Fold at max speed no matter how many devices you charge. The Baseus charger does come with a USB-C to USB-C cable. Check out my video review of the Baseus 140W 3 Port Charger for additional insights and usage tips.

Oraimo 120W Charging Station with Two AC Outlets

If you want the ability to charge your HP Spectre Fold directly from a USB-C port and the option of using the original charger that came with your Spectre, the Oraimo 120W charging station can do just that. This Oraimo charger has three USB-C ports, a single USB-A port, and two AC outlets. Each USB-C port on this charger can output 100W of Power Delivery if you only charge a single device; the charging section has a 120W max output.

In my full review of this Oraimo 120W charging station, I found that the best power allocation for charging your HP Spectre Fold would be if you’re charging the Spectre Fold alone or with one other device charging simultaneously from the charging ports. If you’re charging three devices or more, you can use the AC outlet with the original charger that came with your HP Spectre Fold. Also, the maximum output of the AC outlets is 1250W, so you have more than enough power to use the original charger and power a high-wattage appliance. I invite you to watch my video review of the Oraimo 120W Charging Station to learn more about its features.

Baseus 100W 4 Port Charger

The Baseus 100W 4 port charger is another option for charging your HP Spectre Fold, and just like the Baseus 140W charger, this one has a similar power allocation design. You can use 100W of Power Delivery if you charge your Spectre Fold alone via the USB-C 1 and 2 ports. What I found to be the best part in my full review of this Baseus 100W charger is that I could pull 60W via the USB-C 1 port even when charging four devices simultaneously. Most 100W four port chargers can only output 45W via USB-C 1 during quad device charging; this can output 60W.

60W of Power Delivery may not be optimal for charging your HP Spectre, but it’s a decent charge rate when using another three devices. This Baseus 100W charger does come with a USB-C to USB-C cable in the box. Discover more about this charger in my video review of the Baseus 100W 4 Port Charger.

UGREEN Nexode 300W Charging Station

The UGREEN Nexode 300W charging station is one of the most powerful chargers I’ve tested. In my full review of the UGREEN Nexode 300W charging station, I could charge four power banks and my Galaxy Note 9 simultaneously, and each device could charge at its maximum speed. Just to put into perspective how robust the UGREEN 300W is, you can charge five devices at the same time and still fast charge your HP Spectre Fold 5 via USB-C 1 port; that’s because the USB-C 1 port can still output 140W from the USB-C 1 port even when you charge five devices.

The UGREEN 300W Nexode charger does come with a USB-C to USB-C charging cable. For an in-depth look at this charging station, view my video review of the UGREEN Nexode 300W Charging Station.

Powdeom 150W Mini Power Station

A mini power station can prove useful if you want a power bank and portable power source hybrid; the Powdeom 150W mini power station strikes a great balance between power and price. Suppose you use your original charger or charge directly from a USB-C port. In that case, the Powdeom power station has a single 150W AC outlet that you can use to power the original charger of the HP Spectre Fold. A 65W Power Delivery USB-C port on this power station can charge the Spectre Fold. In my full review of this Powdeom 150W power station, I could easily power a Lenovo charger via the AC outlet and charge my laptop directly from the USB-C port on the power station.

UGREEN 145W Power Bank

The UGREEN 145W power bank is one of the most high-power power banks you can find and is a must if you want to charge most USB-C chargeable laptops. In my full review of this UGREEN 145W power bank, I found that I could simultaneously use 100W of Power Delivery via USB-C 1 and 45W of Power Delivery via USB-C 2. This makes it possible to charge the HP Spectre Fold at max speed via the USB-C 1 port, and you can charge another laptop via the USB-C 2 port.

The USB-C 1 port on the UGREEN 145W power bank will always output 100W of Power Delivery, so you can still charge your Spectre Fold when charging three devices simultaneously. Also, the 25,000mAh battery capacity of this UGREEN power bank is enough to keep the Spectre Fold charged up for a day or more. Learn more about this high-power power bank in my video review of the UGREEN 145W Power Bank.

Baseus 160W Car Charger

As strange as it sounds, USB-C PD charging also opens up charging your HP Spectre Fold while driving. Of course, don’t use your Spectre while you’re driving. That’s a big no, but you can easily charge it with this Baseus 160W car charger. In reviewing this Baseus 160W car charger, I could use 100W of Power Delivery via the USB-C 1 port and 30W from the USB-C 2 and USB-A ports. So you can fast charge your HP Spectre Fold from this Baseus car charger; however, in my review for it, I found that you may not be able to use the 160W max output at the same time, and it’s all dependent on your car socket outlet that you have the charger plugged into.
