Best Chargers for Dell Latitude 9440 in 2024

(Last Updated On: January 5, 2024)

Modern laptops are in a good place because you can find a great laptop at nearly any price range. Most laptops now use a USB-C port for charging, so you can find a Power Delivery USB-C charger in the box, unlike most phones without a charger. The Dell Latitude 9440, a capable laptop, comes with a 65W USB-C charger with a pretty long cable and is reliable.

However, if you want an extra charger, a replacement, or a charger with more charging ports to charge your Dell Latitude 9440 while you charge other devices, I’ve selected chargers that would work well for the Latitude 9440. You will want to use a 65W PD charger or higher when charging the Dell laptop.

UGREEN Nexode 140W 3 Port Charger

A 140W charger, in general, will be the most reliable for charging the Latitude 9440 and most other USB-C chargeable laptops. If you’re charging one device, this UGREEN 140W charger can output 140W of charging power from the USB-C 1 port or 100W from the USB-C 2 port. The USB-A port on this charger always outputs 22.5W. I recommend charging from a 140W charger because you’ll always be able to fast charge your Latitdue 9440 no matter how many devices you charge.

If two devices are charging from the two USB-C ports, then each USB-C port will output 65W of power delivery; this makes it possible to charge your Dell laptop fast and another laptop simultaneously. Then, if you charge three devices simultaneously, the USB-C 1 port outputs 65W of Power Delivery; this still lets you charge your Dell laptop at max speed while you charge another two devices. In my review of the UGREEN 140W charger, I could fast charge my laptop and two phones simultaneously. The UGREEN charger comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable. Watch my UGREEN Nexode 140W 3 Port Charger video review for more insights on its features and charging capabilities.

Baseus 100W 4 Port Charger

If you’re looking for more ports and higher power allocation for the USB-C 1 port on a charger, consider the Baseus 100W 4 port charger. This Baseus charger has a 100W max output and features two USB-C and two USB-A ports. You can get 100W of Power Delivery charging from the USB-C 1 or 2 ports if you charge one device at a time. The better part about the Baseus 100W charger is that when charging four devices simultaneously, the USB-C 1 port outputs 60W of Power Delivery; this makes it possible to charge the Dell Latitude 9440 nearly at its max speed while three other devices are charging.

Most 100W four-port chargers on the market can only output 45W via their USB-C 1 ports during quad charging, but this Baseus charger can deliver more. Baseus 140W 3 Port Charger

The Baseus 140W charger is similar to the UGREEN 140W charger. However, this Baseus one can allocate more charging power to its USB-C 1 port than similar 140W chargers. Yes, you can use 140W of Power Delivery via USB-C 1 or 100W of PD via USB-C 2 when charging one device at a time. What matters most is that you can still use 100W of Power Delivery via the USB-C 1 port when charging three devices simultaneously. So you can technically charge two laptops simultaneously with this UGREEN power bank.

In my review of the UGREEN 145W power bank, the 25,000mAh battery was a lot, and to recharge it quickly, I used the USB-C 1 port at nearly 65W. The better part is that you can still be portable with a charger like this one. Final thoughts about my choice of Chargers for the Dell Latitude 9440

The Dell Latitude 9440 is a reliable laptop for most needs, and thankfully, the charging is accessible so that you can use various chargers. I highly recommend you go with a 65W charger or higher; going any lower would result in slower charging than the original charger. Also, the benefit of using third-party chargers is getting chargers with more charging ports. The UGREEN 140W charger can fast charge the Latitude 9440 while you charge other laptops and phones, while the Baseus 100W charger has four ports.

You can also opt to go portable with charging and still maintain a fast charging speed using the UGREEN 145W power bank or have the option to use the original charger with the Powdeom power station.
