Best Chargers for Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 in 2024

(Last Updated On: January 5, 2024)

The Lenovo ThinkPad T14 is a universal type of laptop that will fit most consumer needs because it’s powerful enough for most things, whether it’s general work, some light video or photo editing, or you can do some gaming on the laptop. The better part about a ThinkPod T14 is that charging is accessible because you can charge it via its USB-C port, and included in the box is a 65W charger.

If you’ve lost your original charger or want an extra charger with more ports or easier portability, I’ve selected some of the best chargers for the ThinkPad T14 Gen 4. What you mainly need to look for when selecting a charger for the T14 Gen 4 is that it has a 65W Power Deliver charging speed or higher.

UGREEN Nexode 140W 3 Port Charger

The UGREEN 140W charger and most other 140W chargers are among the most reliable chargers for charging the ThinkPad T14. This UGREEN charger has two SUB-C ports and a single USB-A port; 140W of Power Delivery can be used if you charge one device from the USB-C 1 port or 100W from USB-C 2. So you can get more than enough when charging the ThinkPad alone.

What’s better is that if you’re charging from the two USB-C ports simultaneously, USB-C 1 and 2 can output 65W of Power Delivery. This makes charging the ThinkPad T14 at max speed possible while fast charging another laptop. Charging three devices still lets you fast charge the ThinkPad T14 because USB-C 1 outputs 65W of Power Delivery. In my review of the UGREEN Nexode 140W charger, I could fast charge my Lenovo Flex 5, super fast charge a Galaxy S20, and fast charge my LG G7 simultaneously. This charger does come with a USB-C to USB-C cable. Watch my video review of the UGREEN Nexode 140W 3 Port Charger for a closer look at its efficient multi-device charging capabilities.

Baseus 100W 4 Port Charger

The Baseus 100W 4 port charger differs slightly from most other 100W chargers because it can allocate more power to its USB-C 1 port when charging four devices simultaneously. You can get 100W of Power Delivery from USB-C 1 or 2 if you charge one device at a time. This Baseus charger is impressive because the USB-C 1 port can output 60W of Power Delivery if you charge four devices simultaneously.

The usual output for a USB-C 1 port for a four port charger is 45W when charging four devices, but this Baseus charger can do 60W; this makes it possible to charge other devices while you charge your ThinkPad T14. In reviewing the Baseus 100W charger, I could charge my Lenovo laptop and the Baseus Blade power bank at 20W and still charge two phones. This charger does come with a USB-C to USB-C cable. Check out my Baseus 100W 4 Port Charger video review to see how it stands out in charging efficiency and power allocation.

KOVOL 140W 2 Port Charger

The KOVOL 140W charger has more than enough power to charge the ThinkPad T14, with the charger only having a USB-C and USB-A port. Single port charging allows you to use 140W of Power Delivery via USB-C. Then, during dual charging, the USB-C port outputs 120W, and the USB-A port always has an 18W charging speed. This KOVOL charger can fast charge the ThinkPad T14, and it’s a great way to futureproof your charging because the charger can help charge nearly any USB-C laptop, including gaming laptops.

In my review of the KOVOL 140W charger, I found that I could fast charge my laptop and phone. However, I did find this charger to be heavier than another 140W charger I’ve reviewed.

UGREEN 300W Nexode Charging Station

If you want to fast charge your ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 while you charge many other devices, this UGREEN 300W charging station can do that. That said, this UGREEN charging station does have a higher price because of its power output. Just to put it into perspective on how powerful the charger is, the USB-C 1 port can output 140W of Power Delivery when charging five simultaneously, so there are no compromises with charging power when charging your ThinkPad T14 Gen 4.

In my review of the UGREEN Nexode 300W charger, I could charge various power banks near their max speed. This charger does come with a USB-C to USB-C cable. Don’t miss my video review of the UGREEN 300W Nexode Charging Station, highlighting its capability to charge multiple devices simultaneously.

Baseus Blade 100W Power Bank

With USB-C charging compatibility also comes the ability to use a power bank for charging your ThinkPad T14. The Baseus Blade power bank is popular because of its 100W Power Delivery output, and the charger has two USB-C and two USB-A ports. However, I recommend charging your ThinkPad from this Baseus power bank alone to use the full Power Delivery charging speed. In my review of the Baseus Blade power bank, I could see the voltage and amperage of the device I was charging via the screen at the top, so you can see how fast your ThinkPad is charging from this power bank. Watch my video review of the Baseus Blade 100W Power Bank for insights on portable, high-power charging.

UGREEN 145W Power Bank

Another great power bank that will charge the ThinkPad T14 is the UGREEN 145W power bank. This power bank does things that others don’t because with its 145W max output, the USB-C 1 port always outputs 100W of Power Delivery, and you can use 45W of PD from the USB-C 2 port simultaneously. So you can technically charge your ThinkPad T14 from USB-C 1 and another laptop from USB-C 2; most power banks cannot charge two laptops simultaneously.

In my review of the UGREEN 145W power bank, I could recharge it from USB-C 1 or 2 but found the USB-C 1 port to have a faster 65W recharge speed. Explore the versatility of the UGREEN 145W Power Bank in my video review, which demonstrates its unique dual-laptop charging feature.

Final thoughts about my choice of Chargers for the ThinkPoad T14 Gen 4

USB-C Power Delivery charging has changed everything regarding not just charging our laptops but charging for nearly any portable device device. Even Apple has had to bend to the will of USB-C because the iPhone 15 is the first to use the USB-C port. If you use any of the chargers I’ve recommended, there’s a high chance you can use them for charging a tablet or phone; also, a charger like the UGREEN 300W charging station lets you charge multiple USB-C devices together.
