Best chargers for Razer Blade 16 in 2024

(Last Updated On: December 18, 2023)

The Razer Blade 16 is a powerful gaming laptop, and even though it is a laptop and you can take it anywhere that you want to, there’s no secret that the Blade 16 will drain battery power fast when you’re gaming from it. In the Razer Blade 16 box, you get a 330W USB-C charger that will keep up with nearly any gaming demand you use for the Blade 16.

If you’re searching for a third-party charger for your Razer Blade 16 because you want a more portable charger with multiple ports to charge your Blade and other devices, then that’s what I’ve chosen in this guide. Just a heads up, the chargers in this guide are not nearly as powerful as the original charger that your Blade came with; they will charge the laptop, but the laptop may still drain power at a slower charge rate, but it will charge the laptop when not in use. When choosing the chargers for your Blade 16, you must stick to powerful ones.

Baseus 140W 3 Port Charger

A 140W charger is a go-to charger for charging the Razer Blade 16 because they have a high output and multiple ports. What makes the Baseus 140W charger different is that it can output more power via the USB-C 1 port when charging multiple devices simultaneously. You can use the total 140W of Power Delivery when charging a single device via the USB-C 1 port on the Baseus charger. If you’re charging three devices simultaneously, the UBS-C 1 port can output 100W of Powre Delivery, while the USB-C 2 port outputs 20W and the USB-A port outputs 18W.

So you can charge your Razer Blade 16 faster when charging it alone via USB-C 1, or when charging multiple devices, you can charge it at 100W via the USB-C 1 port. In my review for the Baseus 140W charger, I could charge one power bank at 100W, another at 20W, and I could fast charge a phone. The Baseus charger does come with a USB-C to USB-C cable in the box. Watch my video review of the Baseus 140W 3 Port Charger.

UGREEN Nexode 140W 3 Port Charger

The UGREEN Nexode 140W charger may not be as efficient regarding power allocation as the Baseus 140W charger, but it’s reliable. You can still use up to 140W of Power Delivery via the USB-C 1 port or 100W via the USB-C 2 port. Also, if you charge from one of the USB-C ports and charge from the USB-A port simultaneously, the USB-C port will output 100W, and the USB-A always outputs 22.5W, no matter how many devices you charge.

I recommend charging your Razer Blade 16 from the UGREEN charger alone or from one USB-C and USB-A ports at a time. If you’re charging about three devices simultaneously, the USB-C 1 port will output 65W, which can still charge your Razer Blade 16, but at a slower charge rate. In my review for the UGREEN 140W charger, I could charge a Lenovo laptop and fast charge two phones; I also found a USB-C to USB-C cable in the box. Watch my video review of the UGREEN Nexode 140W 3 Port Charger.

UGREEN Nexode 300W Charging Station

The UGREEN Nexode 300W charging station is excellent if you charge your Razer Blade 16 while charging other devices simultaneously. The UGREEN charger has a 300W max output, four USB-C ports, and a single USB-A port. I won’t go through all the power allocation configurations of the charger; you can look at my full review of the UGREEN Nexode 300W charger. However, I will say that the USB-C 1 port on this charger can still output 140W when charging five devices simultaneously; this makes it possible to charge your Razer Blade 16 while charging another four devices; most chargers cannot do that. Also, this charger does come with a USB-C to USB-C cable. Watch my video review of the UGREEN Nexode 300W Charging Station.

KOVOL 140W 2 Port Charger

The KOVOL 140W charger is on the more minimal side because it has a USB-C and a USB-A port on the charger. You can use the total 140W of Power Delivery if you’re charging a single device at a time from the USB-C port, and when you’re charging two devices at the same time, the USB-C port outputs 120W and the USB-A port outpost 18W. In my review for the KOVOL 140W charger, I could simultaneously charge my laptop and phone. Using two ports with the KOVOL charger is a nice touch as you can use more power from the USB-C port when charging two devices, which can be better for charging the Razer Blade 16.

UGREEN 145W Power Bank

There are few power banks like the UGREEN 145W power bank because this charger has a USB-C 1 port that can output 100W and a USB-C 2 port that can output 45W at the same time. So you can charge your Razer Blade 16 from the USB-C 1 port while charging an additional laptop from the USB-C 2 port on the UGREEN power bank. I recommend charging your Razer Blade 16 alone from this power bank to maximize the 25,000mAh battery capacity. Also, when charging three devices, the USB-C 1 port can still output 100W, while the USB-C 2 and the USB-A port share a 15W output.

In my review for the UGREEN 145W power bank, I could recharge the power bank at about 60W via the USB-C 1 port with a UGREEN 100W wall charger, so you should use the USB-C 1 port for faster recharging, not the USB-C 2 port. Watch my video review of the UGREEN 145W Power Bank.

Baseus Blade 100W Power Bank

The Baseus Blade power bank is another option for charging your Razer Blade 16 while mobile. However, the max output of the Baseus power bank is more limited. The Baseus Blade power bank has two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports, but you can only use the 100W of Power Delivery if you’re charging a single device at a time from the power bank. So, if you want to charge your Razer Blade 16, you should do it alone. Also, when I was reviewing the Baseus Blade 100W power bank, I found a screen at the top that shows the voltage and amperage of the device you’re charging. So you can see how fast your Razer Blade 16 is charging. Watch my video review of the Baseus Blade 100W Power Bank.

Baseus 160W Car Charger

Charging your Razer Blade 16 while driving sounds bizarre, but it’s possible with the Baseus 160W car charger. This car charger has two USB-C ports and a single USB-A port; you can use 100W of Power Delivery from the USB-C 1 port to charge the Razer Blade 16. The USB-C 2 and the USB-A ports can output 30W. In my review of the Baseus 160W car charger, I could only use the 100W of Power Delivery when charging a single device at a time as the car socket could not handle anything over 100W, so if you do charge your Blade 16 from this car charger, you should do it alone. The Baseus car charger does come with a USB-C to USB-C cable in the box. Watch my video review of the Baseus 160W Car Charger.

Final thoughts about my choice of chargers for the Razer Blade 16

The Razer Blade 16 is a powerful gaming laptop, and it’s great that you can be portable and still play high-end games. However, its drastic battery drain is known all too well for portable gamers, and if you don’t want to lug around the original charger that comes with your Razer Blade 16, then having a third-party charger handy can make owning and using the Razer Blade 16 easier if you’re not doing a heavy-duty gaming session. Yes, I agree using anything other than the included 330W charger is not optimal, but the beauty of USB-C PD charging is being able to charge your gaming laptop and other devices.
